I did a lot of analyzing of 1. Qe5, which seems to win but it is very complicated. Simpler seems to be:

    1. Qf3+ Kg7 [1…Ke8 2. Bg3 Rh7 (2…Ne7 3. Qf7#) 3. Rd8+ Ke7 (3…Kxd8 4. Qf8#) 4. Qf8+ Kxe6 5. Rd6#] 2. Rd7+ Qxd7 [2…Nxd7 3. Qf7#] 3. exd7 Nxd7 4. Qxa8 gxh4 5. Re1+-

    1. Qf5+ Kg7 2. Rd8 Nf6 3. Bxg5 Rxd8 4. Bxf6+ Kf8 5. Bh3+ Kg8 6. Bxd8 +-

    Well done

  6. yelenadembo says:

    Very good

  7. yelenadembo says:

Yes, this is also strong. 1.Qf5 is a little more precise though. Checks closer to the King are usually better unless you need to control something else from afar.

  8. yelenadembo says:

    Well done

  9. mdchess says:

    Qf5+ Kg7 2. Bxg5 hxg5 (else e7 wins) 3. Qxg5+ Kh7 (Kf8 Rd8#) 4. Qf5+ Kg7 5. Rd3 wins

  10. yelenadembo says:

2.Bxg5 definitely wins but 2.Rd7 is much stronger.
