    I am trying to understand what happened today at this tournament. Do you know if the rules were changed pertaining to the tournament ending in a tie? I thought Anand had won with a better tiebreaker score.

    Then an Armageddon game was played to determined the winner! The side issue’s in chess seem to take away from the games. I guess it does help keep the game more interesting for the fans.

    There was an article on chess-news explaining what happened but it is in Russian 🙂
