A few more elite players left the event after yesterday’s game – Caruana, Topalov, So and Adams. Today we will be watching tie-breaks of Ding-Wei, Giri-Wojtaszek, Karjakin-Andreikin and Jakovenko-Eljanov.
Topalov-Adu
The high level event started yesterday in Baku just after the fantastic games of the Sinquefield Cup. Most top level players had a relatively easy 1st game (out of 2 classical ones and possible tie-break games to conclude each round).
