Today I won against IM Petrenko in 27 moves (she blundered a Rook…). The team drew Moldova. Here is the game:

The first round of the Olympiad

The Olympiad started in a spectacular way yesterday (will add photos of the opening ceremony when I am back to a decent internet :-D). You can see the info of the event on http://www.chessolympiadistanbul.com/. Today we played the first round against Costa Rica. My opponent was Gamboa, Leticia, rated 1890 and here is the game:

With all the amount of lessons and the training camp that was so pleasant and successful it is not easy to remember and train for the Olympiad where I will be playing on the first board for Greek women’s team. So, i decided to check out my form and played some blitz games on ICC with the time control of 3 minutes per game, without increment. Here are the games:
