4th round

I won a pretty easy and straight forward game vs Kazakos (2000+ elo) who is one of the best juniors under 16 in Greece. It was a Sicilian where I started a typical attack on the kingside f4-f5, g4, etc. He got himself into a very passive position playing f7-f6 to try and stop my attack but his light squares got weak and eventually (in 26 moves) he got mated nicely 🙂

Today I am playing A.Papadimitriou (2150 elo) with Black.

First round

I won the first round vs Hatzigrigoriou,G (13 years old, 1584). It was an interesting game where my opponent played very quickly the first 20 moves and then overlooked a nice little tactic.

Tomorrow we have 2 rounds, one is at 10am the other is at 17.30 – all Greek time 🙂
