The 3rd game was a relatively fast draw with important exchanges starting as early as move 12! Andreikin only has one more game to equalize the score. Will he be able to do that?

The 2nd game finished in a draw after lots of sacrifices/exchanges and it looks like all was prepared by Kramnik at home! He is leading 1.5-0.5 and is playing White today.

The first game of the final was played yesterday and it was a very interesting one indeed! Kramnik sacrificed a Q for a R and minor piece, got a passed pawn and very active piece play. Then forced Black to give up the R for a passed pawn and after getting two rooks vs Queen, converted it as the advantage was large.

Kramnik won the mini match (rapid) against Vachier-Lagrave and Andreikin did the same against Tomashevsky. Today is a rest day! Looking forward to Kramnik-Andreikin match tomorrow.
