Two new and very strong events begin in Bilbao today: Bilbao Masters Final, in which Aronian, Anand, Ponomariov and Gelfand participate and European Club Cup.

Kamsky and Gelfand advanced to the semi-finals after beating Topalov & Mamedyarov respectively. Kramnik won the tiebreaks match against Radjabov (after playing 8 games!) and Grischuk only needed four to knock-out Aronian.
So the semi-final pairs are Grischuk-Kramnik and Kamsky-Gelfand.
