Women’s World Rapid Championship

This incredibly strong event started yesterday in Batumi, Georgia. There are 50 players playing, including 5 ex-world champions! Definitely a record number! After 3 rounds there are two leaders who have 3 points – Chinese Huang and Cramling of Sweden. They play each other in round 4. Four players share 3rd place – Khurtsidze, Stefanova, Koneru and Kosteniuk.
