The Classic Super Six event had started yesterday. The participants are: Kramnik, Nakamura, Adams, Anand, Giri, Caruana. Adams is leading the event after winning against Caruana in the 1st round. Two other games were drawn.

Russian Super Final 2014

Lysyj became the champion after drawing the last game! He finished on 5.5 out of 9, Jakovenko on 5 and 5 players shared 3rd place with 4.5 points – Vitiugov, Svidler, Morozevich, Khismatullin and Nepomniaschij. Karjakin, Zviagintsev and Grachev shared 8-10 places with 4 points.
