Olympiad – rounds 8 and 9

In round 8 we played Azeris, always a tough match in any European champ. or Olympiad. I was worse for most of the game against Z.Mamedyarova (WGM 2285) due to bad system choice but managed to exchange the most dangerous pieces of the opponent and drew. Unfortunately though, we lost 1.5-2.5.

In round 9 we got Puerto Rico and I had to play a 12 year old girl with 1916 ELO. I don’t even remember when I played a 12 year old last time! 🙂 Anyway, we won 4-0 🙂

Olympiad – round 7

I drew IM Matnadze (2422 ELO) with Black in a very long and crazy game (93 moves). Unfortunately the team lost 1.5-2.5 to Spain 🙁

Here is my game:

Olympiad – round 6

Today I won against WGM Ziaziulkina (2342 ELO) and the team won 2.5-1.5 against Belarus! The game started slowly with me playing a new line (for me) for the first time 🙂 but in the end I managed to do a couple of sacrifices 🙂
