Today’s Blitz games on ICC :)

With all the amount of lessons and the training camp that was so pleasant and successful it is not easy to remember and train for the Olympiad where I will be playing on the first board for Greek women’s team. So, i decided to check out my form and played some blitz games on ICC with the time control of 3 minutes per game, without increment. Here are the games:

And here is another one, I played some days ago:

Hope you will enjoy the style! 🙂

Tal Memorial – rounds 2 & 3

In the second round Kramnik won nicely against the KID:

And Radjabov launched a terrifying attack in his game versus McShane:

The other games were drawn.

In the 3rd round McShane defeated Aronian. The game was very interesting – McShane sacrificed an exchange early on, Aronian didn’t castle and got punished.

In Grischuk vs Morozevich game, White found very nice attacking ideas but in the end his Rook got trapped.

Other games were drawn.

Standings after 3 rounds:

1-2. Radjabov, Morozevich 2.5 points.
3. Kramnik 2.

Tal Memorial 2012 – day one

This highly prestigious event started yesterday in Moscow. The first round was an incredible blow to Black pieces as White won 4 games and drew once.
First, Carlsen drew rather quickly against Kramnik (Annotations are taken from the official website of the tournament):

Then the rest of the games was very dramatic:

It is good to see that all players are in a fighting mood in this event 🙂
