Candidates Matches – Quater-finals

Kamsky and Gelfand advanced to the semi-finals after beating Topalov & Mamedyarov respectively. Kramnik won the tiebreaks match against Radjabov (after playing 8 games!) and Grischuk only needed four to knock-out Aronian.
So the semi-final pairs are Grischuk-Kramnik and Kamsky-Gelfand.

Candidates matches are on their way in Kazan. The first day – 5th of May only brought draws but yesterday Kamsky outplayed Topalov with Black (the only win in 8 games so far:))!

Games 3 & 4 will be played on May 7th and 8th!
