It was a tough day for the white pieces in top 10 yesterday as seven games out of 10 were drawn. Melia won a nice game vs Kacheishvili and so did Roiz vs N.Kosintseva. Paul Szuper of USA, who started the event being rated 128th, has played wonderful chess so far and has 5 out of 7. Ivanchuk is a sole leader with 6 points.
